Terms of Use
Last updated: 27 May 2026
These terms govern the use of Perfect Wedding Day at perfectwedding.day ("the Service"). By creating an account, using the Planning Toolkit, listing a business, or using the Service in any way, you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
Perfect Wedding Day has two sides:
- For suppliers — a UK directory where wedding businesses can publish a listing so couples can discover them.
- For couples — a free Planning Toolkit where couples can search the directory, save suppliers to a shortlist, build a timeline and budget, manage a guest list and RSVPs, keep a wedding to-do list, and (optionally) publish a private wedding website to share with their guests.
We are not an agent, broker, wedding planner, or party to any agreement between couples and suppliers. All enquiries, bookings, contracts, deposits, payments, and disputes are entirely between the parties involved.
2. Eligibility & accounts (everyone)
- You must be at least 18 years old to create any account on the Service.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account.
- You should hold only one account of each type — one supplier account per business, one couple account per couple.
3. Supplier accounts
- You may only sign up as a supplier if you are a UK-based business serving weddings, or are authorised to act on behalf of one.
- Each supplier may have only one listing.
- You must keep your contact details accurate so couples can reach you.
4. Couple accounts (Planning Toolkit)
- The Planning Toolkit is free. There is no paid couple tier and no in-app purchases on the couple side.
- You may save listings, build timelines and budgets, manage guest lists, and add notes for your own private planning use.
- You may add guest information (names, contact details, dietary requirements, RSVP responses, plus-one details) for the people you are inviting to your wedding. By doing so, you confirm that you have the right to enter that information on the Service. You remain the controller of your guest data; we process it solely to provide the Planning Toolkit to you. See our Privacy Policy for details.
- You may, optionally, publish a wedding website at a URL on perfectwedding.day to share with your guests. We do not list these pages in our search results or sitemap, but anyone you give the URL to can view what you publish — and could re-share it. Do not publish information you would not be comfortable with a guest sharing further.
5. Supplier listing content
- You may only upload content you own or have permission to use. By uploading, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the Service while your listing is active.
- You must not upload anything that is unlawful, misleading, infringing, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate for a wedding directory.
- We may, at our sole discretion, edit, hide, or remove listings that violate these terms or that we judge to lower the quality of the directory. We are not obliged to give a reason.
6. Couple Planning Toolkit content
- You may only upload content (photos, text, links) that you own or have permission to use. By uploading, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to store and display it back to you inside your Planning Toolkit, and — if you choose to publish a wedding website — to the people you share the URL with.
- You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that contains personal data about anyone other than yourself, your partner, and your guests for the purpose of planning your wedding.
- We may remove content that breaches these terms or that we reasonably believe to be unlawful.
7. The relationship between couples and suppliers
- The Service is a discovery and planning surface. We are not a wedding planner, agent, broker, escrow service, or guarantor.
- We do not endorse any individual supplier. We do basic moderation on listings, but we do not verify suppliers' credentials, insurance, references, finances, or work quality. Couples are responsible for their own due diligence before contracting any supplier.
- Any quote, contract, deposit, refund, dispute, or other commercial matter between a couple and a supplier is strictly between those two parties. We are not a party to it and bear no responsibility for it.
- We may, but are not obliged to, hide a listing or remove a supplier from the directory if we receive credible reports of misconduct. Doing so is not an admission of fault on our part or theirs.
8. Premium subscriptions & payment (suppliers only)
- Premium is an optional paid upgrade for supplier listings. The current price is £50 (inc. VAT) per annum, billed once at the time of upgrade. We may change the price in future; existing paid subscriptions are honoured until the end of their current 12-month term.
- Premium grants access to additional features as described on our pricing page (gallery, extended description length, social links, custom call-to-action, Premium badge, search priority, and homepage carousel eligibility). These features may evolve over time.
- Premium does not auto-renew. We will email you before expiry so you may choose whether to renew.
- Premium does not guarantee any specific number of enquiries, bookings, or revenue. We make no representation of commercial outcomes.
- The Planning Toolkit is free for couples. There is no Premium tier or paid upgrade on the couple side.
9. Refunds
There are no charges to refund for couple accounts — the Planning Toolkit is free of charge.
10. Acceptable use (everyone)
- You must not attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the security or proper operation of the Service.
- You must not scrape, harvest, or otherwise collect data from the Service for any purpose without our written consent.
- You must not impersonate another business, couple, or person, or sign up using somebody else's contact details.
- You must not use the Service to send unsolicited commercial communications (spam), including through wedding-website or guest-list features.
- You must not use the Service to harass, intimidate, or otherwise harm any other person — including other couples, suppliers, guests, or our staff.
11. Closing your account
- Suppliers may take their listing offline at any time using the toggle on the supplier dashboard. The listing remains stored privately and can be brought back live whenever you choose.
- Suppliers may permanently delete their account and all associated data using the Delete account button on the supplier dashboard. Account deletion does not entitle you to any refund of Premium fees previously paid (see section 9).
- Couples may permanently delete their Planning Toolkit account and all associated planning data — shortlist, timeline, budget, guest list, to-do list, and any published wedding website — using the Delete account button on the Planning Toolkit dashboard. Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered.
12. Our right to suspend or terminate
We may suspend or terminate any account, or hide any listing or wedding website, at any time — with or without notice — if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if continuing your account would harm the integrity of the Service or the experience of other users. If a supplier account is terminated for breach of these terms, no refund will be issued for any Premium fees you have paid.
13. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of business, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of bookings, loss of goodwill, or loss of data arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. We are not liable for any loss arising from your contractual, commercial, or personal dealings with any supplier, couple, or guest contacted or planned with through the Service. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim is limited to (a) £100, or (b) the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email to your registered address and posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
16. Contact
